No English county gives a roofer more variety than North Yorkshire. The coast provides the third condition. Two national parks cover a large share of the county, so if your property sits inside one, confirm the material requirement before you commission anything; substituting concrete for stone slate is very unlikely to be accepted. If you have pantiles on the Moors, ask about mechanical fixing at verges and ridges. And in the Dales, have any re-covering preceded by a proper look at the purlins and rafters, because the weight the roof carries is the whole point.
